FULL SCORE
The chamber choir Full Score was founded by Ralph Woodward in 1995. After giving a number of performances in and around Cambridge, it made a CD of the choral music of Will Todd in 2002.
2006 saw Full Score join forces with Emma Kirkby for music by Bach, Handel and Zelenka, and the choir was subsequently invited to take part in a sell-out performance of Carmina Burana and Will Todd’s Mass in Blue at Snape Maltings.
A major concert with James Bowman was the main event of 2008, followed in 2009 by the choir’s first tour, which took them to Paris.
Highlights of 2010 included singing backing tracks for Cradle of Filth’s new album, Darkly, darkly Venus Aversa, trips to Rome and Venice, a major collaboration with Cambridge Contemporary Dance, and a number of appearances at corporate and academic events in Cambridge.
2011 saw Full Score mount a magical Schubertiade, join forces with its orchestral wing Orchestral Score for a Mozartiade, and give two highly successful concerts in Lisbon.In 2012 Full Score recorded backing vocals for a new album by Splintered Soul, gave a concert for the William Walton Foundation on Ischia, and promoted a Brahmsiade in Cambridge.
In 2013 Full Score gave a concert with the string section of Orchestral Score, followed in 2014 by backing vocals for Gavin Chappell-Bates and a concert of music by Schumann. Their most recent project has been singing on a TV ad for Rowse honey.
