Full
Score
The
chamber choir Full Score was founded by Ralph Woodward in
1995. After giving a number of performances in and around
Cambridge, it made a CD of the choral music of Will Todd in
2002.
2006
saw Full Score join forces with Emma Kirkby for music by Bach,
Handel and Zelenka, and the choir was subsequently invited
to take part in a sell-out performance of Carmina Burana and
Will Todd’s Mass in Blue at Snape Maltings.
A
major concert with James Bowman was the main event of 2008,
followed in 2009 by the choir’s first tour, which took
them to Paris.
Highlights
of 2010 included singing backing tracks for Cradle of Filth’s
new album, Darkly, darkly Venus Aversa, trips to Rome and
Venice, a major collaboration with Cambridge Contemporary
Dance, and a number of appearances at corporate and academic
events in Cambridge.
2011 saw Full Score mount a magical Schubertiade, join forces
with its orchestral wing Orchestral Score for a Mozartiade,
and give two highly successful concerts in Lisbon. Plans for
2012 include a concert for the William Walton Foundation in
Italy.
